Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, you plan, execute, and coordinate activities related to special projects. In this capacity, you ensure optimal use of the human, material, and financial resources allocated to you.
And more specifically:
- You initiate and participate in meetings, discussions, or gatherings with employees from other divisions or city services and/or representatives from external organizations to examine issues within your area of expertise and find appropriate solutions. You follow up on decisions regarding your area of activity.
- You coordinate and plan the technical assistance necessary for the completion of a project and ensure that the required equipment is available.
- You design, develop, and propose policy, program, and procedure projects related to your area of expertise and ensure their compliance once approved. You participate in the design and development of municipal regulation projects.
- You respond to citizen complaints and requests, advise them, guide them, and provide them with any information regarding the application of municipal regulations related to the environment and any other subject within your area of expertise.

- Hold a bachelor's degree in a field related to environmental sciences;
- Have two (2) years of experience in natural environments;
- Have experience and skills in environmental project development, at the technical, regulatory, and awareness levels;
- Possess knowledge and experience in areas related to natural environments (provincial regulations in natural environments, restoration, wetlands);
- Ability to write reports (data, analyses, and recommendations);
- Knowledge of geomatics will be considered an asset.
